This work, Neung Seon, carries the meaning of “Ridges,” capturing the beauty of Korean nature and its flowing lines.
Inspired by the mountain peaks of Korea, the artist sought to embody the serene and quiet landscape created by layers of mountain ranges overlapping one another. The work reflects the peaceful and contemplative atmosphere found in these natural scenes.
Each piece is finished with natural lacquer, giving it a deep and rich color. It is the artist’s hope that this beauty may gently become a part of everyday life.

The plate is made from birch wood, engraved with a heart pattern, and finished with natural lacquer.

Najeon-Chilgi Heart Round Box is a piece inspired by traditional Korean round containers that were historically used to hold precious items.
It carries the hope that the simple acts of eating and drinking may be filled with love, and that life may be built through many special days. Made with sincerity and care, the piece reflects a wish to nurture everyday life and to remain by your side for a long time.
Processed mother-of-pearl is called “Najeon,”
and objects finished with lacquer are called “Chilgi.”
When these two elements are combined, the piece is commonly referred to as “Najeon-Chilgi.”
Crafted from birch wood, it is adorned with heart-shaped mother-of-pearl inlay and finished with natural lacquer.

Ottchil Rim Series is crafted in the most simple and functional form, focusing on the essential purpose of holding and presenting its contents with quiet clarity.
Two different textiles are applied to the surface, highlighting the woven texture as a key design element.
The subtle patterns of the weave add a delicate yet distinctive detail to the piece.
