Two patterned lightweight padded jackets I once wore have been reborn into a new form. This idea was born from my reluctance to part with these old jackets, which are filled with precious memories. By cutting and sewing the jackets into the shape of a vessel and then using the plaster slip casting technique, I can preserve those lingering memories within the ceramic itself. This jar holds my past and the essence of my personal history.
Care & Handling
Both the interior and exterior are glazed, making the vase waterproof and safe for holding fresh flowers.
Dishwasher safe, but hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended to preserve the delicate texture.
As each piece is handcrafted, please handle with care to avoid impact.
