This bracelet is part of the Obsidian Bloom series, centered around the traditional Korean Chrysanthemum knot and articulated through a restrained combination of materials. The contrast between black tiger’s eye and silver beads establishes a balance between darkness and light, moving beyond simple color contrast to create a refined visual flow through differences in texture and luster.
The sequence of beads along the wrist forms a measured rhythm, generating a subtle sense of movement that shifts with the wearer. Positioned at the center, the Chrysanthemum knot embodies a dense and structured form, maintaining its traditional character while anchoring the overall composition. Within the interconnected flow of elements, it functions as the central axis that establishes visual balance.
The piece is crafted in 92.5% sterling silver. The luminous clarity of silver, combined with the depth of black tiger’s eye, conveys both restrained elegance and a grounded presence on the wrist.
This work explores a sculptural language that brings together traditional knotting, material contrast, and repetition, seeking a balance between restraint and form.
This piece is strung with black tiger’s eye beads on an elastic polyurethane cord. Excessive pulling may cause the cord to stretch or break, so please handle with care when wearing and removing the bracelet. It is recommended to put on and take off the piece gently without applying unnecessary force.
Polyurethane cord may naturally degrade over time depending on usage and environment. With prolonged use, the elasticity may weaken or the cord may eventually break. It is recommended to periodically check the condition of the bracelet and replace the cord if needed.
Black tiger’s eye may be sensitive to strong impact. Please avoid dropping the piece or subjecting it to external shock.
Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time due to exposure to air and sulfur. When not in use, it is recommended to store the piece in a sealed container to minimize contact with air.
Prolonged exposure to water, sweat, and humidity may affect both the luster of the materials and the durability of the cord. Proper care is advised during wear.
