Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum is a cultural institution dedicated to preserving the Buncheong ceramic heritage of Undaeri, Goheung, and reinterpreting its significance from a contemporary perspective. Undae- ri was one of the last places in Korea where
Buncheong ware flourished. Opened in 2017, the museum connects the legacy of Buncheong ware with contemporary ceramic practice through permanent and special exhibitions, international residencies, and creative exchange programs. Since joining the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) as a member institution in 2023, the museum has continued to expand
opportunities for Goheung’s Buncheong tradition to engage with artists and audiences from around the world.
