My forms are intuitively created through the interplay between the elasticity of balloons and the material properties of plaster. Unplanned organic lines and sculptural forms emerge from the movement of my hands, embodying moments of chance and transformation within the making process. The completed forms move beyond the boundaries between function and form, suggesting diverse sensory experiences.

The movement of my hands and emotional impulses become embedded in the process, revealing unplanned organic lines and sculptural forms. These forms achieve harmony and balance by combining geometric structures with sensorial elements.

I create various objects inspired by the material properties of balloons and the spontaneous movements of my hands. This sculptural language extends into the fluid beauty of Korean traditional vessels, where the deep tones of cobalt marble glaze and variations in surface created by glaze thickness bring visual tactility to living objects.

Using the material properties of balloons, this work transforms the familiar apple into a ceramic still life. Recycled glass is applied over a smooth glazed surface, preserving the subtle transformations and traces produced during firing, creating a sensory and tactile surface that enriches the object's presence.

This candle holder combines organic forms inspired by the material properties of balloons with geometric structures. Recycled glass is added to the smooth glazed surface, capturing traces of transformation through fire and expressing a tactile surface created by the interaction between material and the firing process.

The candlestick is made by slip-casting porcelain clay and then spraying traditional Jeju Onggi clay onto its surface. The Onggi clay produces varying colors depending on its concentration, mixing ratio, and application thickness. Different clay mixtures sprayed onto the surface create unexpected colors and textures during firing, adding a sense of sculptural interest through these unexpected results.

풍선의 물성에서 비롯된 손잡이는 손의 움직임을 따라 유기적인 형태로 확장되며, 기능과 조형 사이의 균형을 탐구한다. 컵과 저그는 트레이와 함께 하나의 조형적 구성을 이루며, 일상의 기능을 넘어 공간 속에서 존재감을 지닌 오브제로 작용한다.

The handles, inspired by the material properties of balloons, are transformed into organic forms through the movement of the hands, exploring the balance between function and sculptural expression. The cup and jug, presented together with the tray, form a cohesive sculptural composition, transcending their everyday functions to become objects that create a distinctive presence within a space.

The tray is made of plaster, with recycled ceramic and recycled glass from my previous works arranged on its surface. The discarded ceramic pieces are reinterpreted as patterns through their forms and colors, creating a sustainable object with unique surface textures and sculptural qualities.
