Nature's vitality is always at the center of work. It captures the time of creation and circulation of nature through the fundamental material called soil,
I hope that the work goes beyond just objects and becomes a creature with life.
It is inspired by the tough vitality of the wild grass, the time it permeates the texture of wood, and the beauty of the moment when flowers bloom and fall. Repeated debt and waiting at the fingertips resemble nature's breathing, and the flow of glaze and the traces of fire remain as natural intervention beyond human intention.
The ceramic work thus completed seeks a living balance rather than perfection. The form of microscopic cracks and amorphousness is the original form of life and is a record of the quiet coexistence created by meeting nature, humans, time and matter.
Rather than recreating nature, my work tries to exist in the way of nature. Just as soil, water, and fire meet and gain life, I hope that the work will become a medium to convey nature's energy and comfort in everyday space.
