"Symbolizing the Koreans, often called the "Baegui Minjok" (People in White), the artwork showcases the beauty of pure white. The white ferocious beast atop the head is the owner's loving closest friend and guardian. Although the beast bares its teeth, anyone who becomes familiar with it is granted the qualification to be chosen to sit on its head.
The piece features letters engraved on the chest, expressing the great linguistic play. The individual characters, '나' means 'I' or 'Me' in English, and '비' means the natural phenomenon 'Rain'. However, when these two characters are combined and pronounced, an entirely new word, 'Nabi' is born. This refers to the beautiful 'Butterfly' that sheds its chrysalis and takes flight. Beyond a mere combination of letters, the K-Cosmos art toy symbolically represents the astonishing compound word-forming ability of Hangeul, showcasing the aesthetics of creation and transformation."
