This embroidered coaster reinterprets the witty expression of the tiger, a beloved motif in Joseon-era minhwa (folk paintings), through a modern lens.
The tiger’s face is delicately embroidered on organza fabric, traditionally used as the inner lining of hanbok, bringing a subtle harmony of tradition and contemporary design to the tabletop.
It serves not only as a functional coaster but also as a refined decorative piece that conveys the playful spirit of Korean folk art.
Due to the nature of the fabric and embroidery, slight irregularities or coarse finishes may appear; these are part of the handmade process. Each piece is carefully inspected, and only items meeting quality standards are shipped.
If wrinkles or minor creases occur, place a cloth over the product and gently iron it at a low temperature.
