"Distorted Series" appears as an intact ceramic from a frontal perspective, yet instantly transforms into a distorted form as the viewer moves their position. We seek to deliver the joy of discovering and contemplating surreal scenes where reality and unreality intersect depending on one’s vantage point.
* Historically, Obangsaek has been used in various aspects of life—from children’s saekdong-jeogori to dancheong and wedding attire—as a symbol of warding off misfortune and praying for good fortune. Based on these colors, the ‘Saekdong’ captures harmony and balance through its color arrangement, wishing for peace and luck in everyday life.
