Creator Intro

Pauline Louise Studio practices "Digital Craft," deconstructing and reinterpreting the forms of traditional ceramics into digital data and re-materializing them through 3D printing. While the pieces appear as complete forms—such as the Maebyeong, Moon Jar, or Gourd Bottle—from the front, they instantly transform into distorted images as the viewer moves their physical position. We seek to deliver the joy of discovering and contemplating surreal scenes where reality and unreality intersect depending on one’s vantage point. Through this process, we explore how the sculptural values of traditional pottery can be reconstructed within a digital landscape.
