The ‘san (Mountain)’ series is a collection of tableware designed specifically for Cafe Gourmand, capturing the majestic essence of Korean mountains.
The series features a sleek, modern design, crafted from a blended clay body mixed with sand to evoke the raw, organic textures of nature. Using hand-torn Hanji (traditional Korean paper) to delineate the graceful ridges of a mountain, I applied pigments that naturally permeate the ceramic surface, creating a subtle and layered coloration. Each piece is finished with a high-temperature glaze fired at over 1250°C, ensuring it is both durable and food-safe.

-Thermal Shock: Avoid pouring boiling hot liquids into a very cold vessel, as sudden temperature changes may cause damage.
