My work is based on a craftsmanship that grows countless times over and over. Constant exploration of the art of the hand is one of the human values, and I tried to see this as the core of craftsmanship. Unlike machines, the process of acquiring skill through repetitive actions is thought to be a process of growth that only humans can feel.
I tried to express this as a process of cutting the surface several times in a form made of a spinning wheel, and reinterpreted various traditional Korean techniques that visually emphasize repeatability, such as caving and face cutting, to reveal the craftsmanship experienced by the artist as a work.
