Creator Intro

Cloudberry Lab creates emotional products incorporating the keyword “happiness.”
Founded by artist Younjeong Hwang, the brand features illustrations inspired by nature and the twelve animal guardians of Korean tradition,
while researching and reinterpreting traditional Korean pattern design. Cloudberry Lab is characterized by organic drawing and lettering, distinctive graphic pattern styles, and a careful approach to completion. By adding emotional warmth to the stationery we encounter in everyday life, the brand hopes to deliver happiness into the daily lives of its users.

Cloudberry Lab’s first journey at Maison&Objet is a collection of ceremony envelopes and notebooks featuring 'Kihonsangje Korean Traditional Patterns Ceremony Envelope Set' for life’s major occasions. Preserving the classical beauty of traditional forms while removing excessive lines and colors, the designs are refined into simplified, modern patterns applied across the collection.
Using 'Hanji'(traditional Korean paper) for everyday items such as envelopes and notebooks, the collection aims to enhance both cultural identity
and practical usability. We hope that, through these pieces, the beauty of Korean tradition can gently become part of everyday life.
