Based in Seoul, I collect fragments of sensory experience encountered while moving between cities, shaping them within metal as another material presence. I allow textures, air and light, breath and scent drawn from nature to dwell within it, forming works marked by quiet density and lingering resonance. Rather than reproducing natural forms, my practice is concerned with allowing these sensations to be re-formed within a different material.
