Delaon studies the colors and textures of the natural world, seeking a restrained balance within roughness, and embracing the aesthetics of "wabi-sabi" the beauty that remains in what is left out.
The texture of each piece against the skin carries the warmth that only clay can hold, offering the most refined handcraft experience a space can have.
By subtly varying the raw texture of clay, Delaon pursues the purest craft beauty found at the intersection of sight and touch.

Delaon's vase is born from the raw textures found in coastal rock faces and layered strata. The coarse grain of sand and the quiet tones of the natural landscape are translated into clay and glaze. At its core, this work is a study in the unrefined beauty of earth held within a form of deliberate restraint.

A small vase of quiet, flowing curves simple in form, considered in presence. Rooted in the classical elegance of East Asian ceramics, its silhouette carries tradition without ornament. The surface explores the meeting point between cold metal and warm earth: the deep luster of pure silver, and the way its tone deepens with every touch.

Glazed and fired, then coated with pure platinum and fired once more the surface holds the grain of both earth and metal in a single skin. The form is restrained, designed to deepen in character with use and time. Its footed base creates a gentle elevation on the table, equally at home as a display object or a vessel for small dishes and appetizers.

The Monte series is born from the depth of mountains formed in dark stone. A fluid white glaze flows over a deep black body, then pure platinum is applied and fired once more — binding earth and metal into a single surface. The form is restrained, shaped to deepen in character with every use.
