Glazed and fired, then coated with pure platinum and fired once more the surface holds the grain of both earth and metal in a single skin. The form is restrained, designed to deepen in character with use and time. Its footed base creates a gentle elevation on the table, equally at home as a display object or a vessel for small dishes and appetizers.
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in color, form, and texture are natural and unique to every individual work.
Please handle with care, as ceramics may break under strong impact. Pieces with a platinum-treated surface are not dishwasher or microwave safe.
